Docker, DevOps and architecture
From a local container to a predictable deployment.
1:1 online lessons in Docker, Linux and CI/CD — in Polish
Who it’s for For developers who want to understand what happens to their code after git push, and for teams cleaning up their infrastructure.
What we work on We work on your setup: Dockerfile, pipeline, stack file, server. We design the flow from build to deployment.
Topics you can bring
From the ground up
- A Dockerfile that builds fast and produces a small image
- Docker Compose for local development
- Linux on the server: users, processes, logs, networking
- Your first CI pipeline: tests and an image build
More advanced
- Docker Swarm: stacks, secrets, rolling updates and rollbacks
- Traefik as a reverse proxy with automatic TLS
- Deployment strategies and rolling back to the previous version
- Architecture decisions: monolith, modules, services
Example sessions
- Scenario A
A Dockerfile in 20 minutes instead of 2 GB
We take your current Dockerfile and, step by step, cut both the image size and the build time: multi-stage builds, layer caching, the right base image.
- Scenario B
A pipeline from scratch
Together we design a build → test → deploy flow for your project in GitLab CI or GitHub Actions and get the first version running.
- Scenario C
Architecture review
You walk me through how your system works. We draw it together, look for single points of failure and decide what to fix first.
Example outcomeA properly designed build → deploy flow
How we work
The best way to learn infrastructure is on your own setup, not on a tutorial example. That’s why we almost always work on your repository or on a test environment you prepare.
We draw a lot. Before we change anything, I want you to be able to sketch where a request goes, where the data lives and what happens when one of the components goes down.
I also tell you how we solve similar problems in production, what trade-offs we accept and why.
Sessions are held in Polish.
What I don’t do
- I don’t set up your production environment as part of a lesson. If you need a deployment done, that’s a separate conversation.
- I don’t log in to your production servers. We work over a shared screen.
